HOLIDAY GIVEAWAYS

As with everything else in 2020, the holiday season is starting up to be a strange time in a full-on lockdown for all of us, including so many of the local businesses we love.

Rather than focusing on the negative, this year we’ve decided to get into the holiday spirit and embrace the joy of… drumroll please… *THE GIVEAWAY!*

Over the past week we had the pleasure of joining a group of lovely female-owned businesses and content creators in giving away a gorgeous, jealousy inducing (us being the jealous ones, since we can’t win!) Smeg toaster. And the fun is just getting started.

As much as we all know and love the classic Insta Giveaway as a quick and easy way to attract and engage new follower growth - we also have another reason for indulging in a few fun, locally-minded giveaways.

We just wanted to provide a little more cheer and social fun. We know this year has been hard. We’ve all had to adjust our lives and routines in ways that have been at best uncomfortable, and at worst heart breaking.

We’ve seen our favourites restaurants close and businesses we love shut down. And since we can’t throw a big holiday party, or even gather with our staff to celebrate simply surviving this year, we’ve giving you the chance to win stuff.

Stuff that will make you smile, help you make your home a little more comfortable, or maybe just brighten your spirits a little this holiday season.
